Challenge round Europe

On 25 April 2026, I started from Munich together with Josefine Rutkowski on our first joint adventure project – cycling clockwise around Europe. We bypassed Russia and Ukraine due to the war and arrived back in Munich at August 29th.

Unlike previous projects, this time the focus was not on the fastest route, but on the most beautiful one. We covered 24,000 kilometres and 250,000 metres of elevation in 130 days on small roads and paths in the hinterland. In classic adventurer style, we carried all our luggage ourselves.
