A challenging start with steep climbs through the Vogtland. Around 10 am I reach Bavaria, the final state of my journey around Germany. A TV crew us waiting at the state border and follows for a while. I continue through the hills and its getting very hot. I push hard as I wanted to meet a friend for dinner. In the evening there is more climbing and I finish in the dark after 230 km with 3.500 meters of elevation at a Pizzeria and nice dinner with Gerhard, a race Organisator from Bavaria. I ride out of town and sleep behind a small hut. 50 km left on the bike.
