On 29 November 2021, after 429 days, I reach the starting point of my round-the-world trip in Munich.
Friends, family, sponsors and media are waiting at Odeonsplatz.
After a few interviews, we drive to the reception at Globetrotter, where I am newly dressed and my beard and hair are trimmed back to a civilised level. I can sign the first copies of my new book, which is now available in bookshops.
Now I begin a somewhat different marathon through the media before I can retire to my family for the Christmas season.
